Austin, TX – South-Central Texas residents are set to experience warm and breezy weather starting Sunday. Temperatures will climb into the mid-80s by the afternoon, with winds picking up to create cooler, fall-like conditions.

Monday promises more sunshine, with highs around 86 degrees and minimal weather impacts expected. Winds from the north will continue to moderate the temperatures and humidity, providing pleasant conditions throughout the day.

By Tuesday, temperatures will rise near 89 degrees. Isolated thunderstorms may develop as early as Wednesday, as moisture levels increase due to a disturbance in the Gulf. The chance of rain stands at 30%. According to the National Weather Service, these storms will move out by late Wednesday, and sunny skies will return on Thursday and Friday, with highs peaking in the low 90s.

Residents should prepare for scattered showers midweek, but overall, this week’s weather promises mostly sunny skies and comfortable conditions for Austin and the surrounding region.
