According to the National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg, the region will see a significant chance of thunderstorms, particularly on Monday. The likelihood of showers and thunderstorms developing is 60%, mainly after 2 p.m., bringing a mix of sun and storms to the area.

Sunday will see a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight, with conditions becoming calm in the evening. As the new week begins, Monday’s high will reach nearly 89 degrees before the storms arrive. The pattern of afternoon thunderstorms is expected to persist through much of the week, with varying chances each day.

Looking ahead, Tuesday will bring more sun with a high near 90 degrees, though a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms remains. Wednesday sees a slight dip in storm chances to 30%, with partly sunny skies and a high near 92. The unsettled weather continues into Juneteenth on Thursday, which has a 30% chance of afternoon storms and a high near 93 degrees. The week concludes with mostly sunny skies and a high near 92 on Friday.
