Columbia, SC – A refreshing change is in store for South Carolina residents as fall-like weather settles into the Columbia area. Wednesday’s forecast predicts high temperatures in the mid-80s, accompanied by lower dew points, offering a much-needed break from the usual summer heat.
According to the U.S. National Weather Service in Columbia, the CSRA and Midlands regions will experience a pleasant drop in both temperature and humidity, making for a comfortable day outdoors. The high for Wednesday is expected to reach around 84°F, with morning lows dipping into the mid-60s.
Looking ahead, the trend of cooler temperatures continues through the week. Thursday and Friday will see highs in the low to mid-80s, with overnight lows in the low 60s. As the weekend approaches, temperatures will begin to climb, with Saturday expected to reach 87°F and Sunday nearing 90°F.
The warming trend will continue into the early part of next week, with highs in the low 90s by Monday and Tuesday. However, the lower humidity levels will keep the weather feeling more comfortable than the typical August heat.
