Greenville, SC – A warm and pleasant fall day is expected across much of the Upstate today, though residents along and west of the I-26 corridor could see a few light rain showers, according to the National Weather Service Greenville-Spartanburg.

Forecasters say conditions will stay partly sunny and mild, with temperatures climbing well above seasonal averages. Rain chances remain low and scattered, meaning most areas will stay dry, but brief showers could move through during the afternoon and early evening.

According to the weather service, highs will reach the mid- to upper-70s, continuing a warming trend that’s expected to last into the start of the workweek. Low temperatures overnight will remain above normal for early October, keeping the region in a mild pattern.

Drivers along I-26 and nearby highways may notice damp pavement in isolated spots, but no major travel impacts are expected.

Warmer weather is forecast to persist through midweek before another front brings cooler air and potentially more rain later in the week.
