However, scattered showers and thunderstorms could arrive after 11 p.m., marking a shift toward stormier fall weather. By Thursday, the risk for thunderstorms becomes more significant. Showers are expected after 2 p.m., with possible storms into the evening hours. Rain chances rise to 40% during the day and increase to 70% Thursday night. Drivers should use caution, particularly on I-85 and I-26, where wet pavement could create delays during the evening commute.
