Wednesday brings renewed breezy conditions, with temperatures ranging from the upper 20s to low 30s during the day and wind chills dropping back into the teens at night. According to the National Weather Service, an additional chance for light snow develops Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday evening.
The coldest mornings of the week arrive late week. Thursday morning lows are expected to dip into the lower teens, with daytime highs only reaching the low to mid-20s. Friday moderates slightly, but morning wind chills will still hover in the teens. Seasonal cold continues into the weekend, with Saturday highs climbing into the low 30s.
Drivers should remain cautious this evening as residual slick spots linger, especially on secondary roads and bridges. Residents are urged to dress in layers, limit prolonged outdoor exposure, and ensure pets have warm shelter as winter conditions settle in for several days.
