The collision occurred around 7 a.m., prompting a full closure of the eastbound lanes near the U.S. 31 interchange as emergency crews responded to the scene. Authorities said no injuries were reported, though significant vehicle damage was visible, including a passenger car wedged beneath a tanker trailer.
