South Bend, IN – A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that wounded three people at a South Bend apartment complex.

According to South Bend Police, officers responded to the 3400 block of High Street at Miami Hills Apartments early Tuesday morning. Three victims were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit identified the suspect as Jarod Pigee. On Wednesday, Pigee was arrested on several preliminary charges related to the shooting. He is currently held at the St. Joseph County Jail, awaiting formal charges from the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office.
