According to the National Weather Service in Sacramento, there will be a brief lull in snowfall Friday morning before it intensifies in the afternoon. Wind gusts may reach up to 30 mph, exacerbating visibility issues and increasing the likelihood of travel delays. Motorists should exercise caution, carry emergency supplies, and check road conditions before departure.

• Saturday: Sunny skies with a high near 59°F. Winds will increase to around 9 mph in the afternoon, gusting up to 18 mph. Overnight, temperatures drop to around 38°F.
• Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high of 58°F and calm afternoon winds. Clouds will increase into the evening, with a 50% chance of rain showers overnight and a low near 41°F.
• Monday: Conditions clear up again, with sunny skies and a high of 59°F. Evening temperatures fall to around 37°F.
• Tuesday: Mostly sunny, reaching 57°F during the day, and partly cloudy with lows near 41°F at night.
• Wednesday: Warmer and mostly sunny, with temperatures rising to a high of 63°F, providing a midweek break from colder conditions.
