Grand Junction, CO – Snow showers are expected to continue in Colorado’s northern and central mountains through Saturday morning, offering what may be the season’s final snowfall before temperatures climb. A mix of light rain and snow will bring cool, cloudy conditions to surrounding areas, according to the National Weather Service in Grand Junction.

Accumulations in the mountains could reach up to six inches in favored locations, tapering off by afternoon. The NWS forecasts clearer skies Saturday night with temperatures dropping to around 30°F and calm winds in the Grand Junction area.

By Sunday, residents can expect sunny skies with temperatures reaching a high of 55°F. Winds will shift southeast at 5 mph in the morning, then calm in the afternoon, enhancing visibility and outdoor conditions. Sunshine and mild temperatures are projected through the upcoming week, marking a shift toward drier, warmer weather across the region.
