Hastings, Neb. – The National Weather Service in Hastings reports that light snow is falling across much of south-central Nebraska this morning, leading to snow-covered and slick roadways throughout the region.
Traffic cameras from the Nebraska Department of Transportation show snow accumulation on key routes, including I-80 near Aurora, Highway 136 near Riverton, and areas around Chester.
Travelers are urged to allow extra time, slow down, and use caution if driving early Monday. Snow is expected to taper off later in the morning, but lingering icy spots may persist as temperatures remain below freezing.
