Cleveland, OH – A snowy weekend is ahead for northern Ohio, with temperatures struggling to rise above freezing and scattered snow showers expected.

Friday begins with a slight chance of snow showers during the morning hours. Highs will reach only 21 degrees, accompanied by west winds around 10 mph. By Friday night, skies will clear slightly, with temperatures plummeting to 11 degrees.

Saturday brings a stronger chance of snow showers, primarily after 1 p.m. The high temperature will hover near 32 degrees, but brisk winds up to 16 mph will make it feel much colder. Snow accumulations are expected to remain light, at less than an inch, but road conditions could become slick, especially in the afternoon.

Sunday offers a brief reprieve from snowfall, with mostly cloudy skies and highs near 28 degrees. However, the bitter cold remains, with overnight lows dipping to 19 degrees. Looking into early next week, Monday’s forecast shows mostly sunny skies with a high of 34 degrees, providing a small warming trend.

Residents should remain cautious on roadways and plan for icy patches, particularly during snowfall periods on Friday morning and Saturday afternoon. Keep an eye on updates from the National Weather Service for any changes.
