Lynnwood, Washington – A major narcotics investigation in Snohomish County has led to the seizure of large quantities of fentanyl and other illegal drugs in Lynnwood, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the seizure followed a months-long investigation by the Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force (SRDTF) in collaboration with local and regional law enforcement partners. The case stems from a “spin-off” of a large-scale wire investigation conducted during the summer of 2025.
Investigators say a 29-year-old Lynnwood man was arrested on December 17, 2025, after detectives allegedly found him in possession of approximately 24.8 grams of fentanyl and 30.2 grams of methamphetamine. During the investigation, detectives impounded a related vehicle and later identified a separate location connected to the suspect.
A subsequent search of that location uncovered more than 13 pounds of powdered fentanyl, authorities said.
The total seizure from the investigation includes:
- 6,064 grams of methamphetamine (about 13.36 pounds)
- 3,232 grams of powdered fentanyl (about 7.12 pounds)
- 2,558 grams of M30 fentanyl pills (approximately 25,000 pills)
- 963 grams of cocaine
- 993 grams of heroin
- Two vehicles
- $6,719 in U.S. currency
The operation involved the Lynnwood Police Department, SRDTF, and partner agencies from the Everett Police Department, including the Anti-Crime Team (ACT) and Violent Crimes Unit (VCU).
“This collaborative work between our local and regional agencies continues to be instrumental in removing dangerous narcotics from our communities,” said Dave Hayes, SRDTF Commander, in a statement.
Authorities emphasized that the investigation remains active, and additional arrests or charges may follow.
