Paducah, KY – The National Weather Service in Paducah reports that warmer—but still below normal—temperatures can be expected today and Sunday across western Kentucky and southern Illinois.

A small chance of rain is forecast to develop late tonight into Sunday morning, mainly east of the Mississippi River. Another light mix of rain or flurries may occur Sunday night as colder air settles in.

Highs today will reach the 40s to near 50°F, with Sunday seeing similar readings before temperatures drop sharply Monday, when highs will only reach the 30s and low 40s under mostly sunny skies.

A brief warm-up arrives Tuesday, with highs rebounding into the mid-40s to low 50s, followed by another chance of rain Wednesday, mainly east of the Mississippi River.
