Skowhegan, Maine – A traffic stop on Bennett Avenue led to three arrests after deputies located a reportedly stolen vehicle and drugs.

According to the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Conner Falardeau conducted a traffic stop around 10:57 a.m. Sunday, March 1, 2026, on a silver 2025 Nissan Versa displaying a Florida license plate.

Falardeau allegedly recognized the vehicle through state databases as reported stolen the night before from Piscataquis County, authorities said.

Four occupants were inside the car. The driver was identified as Ryan Corson, 43, of Skowhegan. Passengers were identified as Hanna Grier, 34, of the Skowhegan area, Mike Medeiros, 41, of Skowhegan, and an additional female from the Skowhegan area.

Deputies detained all four individuals while Skowhegan Police and additional Somerset County deputies assisted at the scene.

During searches conducted as part of the stop, deputies allegedly discovered 5.8 grams of crack cocaine in Medeiros’ possession along with an unprescribed Suboxone strip, according to the sheriff’s office. Authorities said several items of drug paraphernalia, including used needles, were also located during a search of Corson.

Corson was arrested and charged with Unauthorized Use of Property (Class C) and Operating a Motor Vehicle after Habitual Offender Revocation (Class C). Bail was set at $2,500 unsecured.

Grier was arrested on a warrant for Unauthorized Use of Property (Class D) and Violation of Conditions of Release (Class E) and is being held without bail on underlying charges.

Medeiros was arrested and charged with Unlawful Furnishing of Scheduled Drugs (Class C) and Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drugs (Class D). Bail was set at $500 unsecured.

All three are scheduled to appear in Somerset County Unified Criminal Court at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

Authorities said the vehicle was towed, and the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office was notified. The case will be reviewed by the Somerset County District Attorney’s Office, according to Sheriff Lancaster.

The incident occurred along a route frequently used by local commuters traveling through Skowhegan.
