Shreveport, LA – Scattered rain showers will linger across northwest Louisiana and parts of east Texas through Monday night, with a few isolated thunderstorms possible as temperatures dip into the upper 60s.

According to the National Weather Service in Shreveport, rain chances range between 20% and 31% across the region, with the highest odds near El Dorado and Hope, Arkansas. Overnight lows are expected to fall into the mid-60s to around 70°F, bringing seasonably mild conditions to cities like Tyler, Texarkana, and Natchitoches.

Shreveport, Longview, and Monroe can expect brief rain periods but minimal accumulation. While no severe storms are forecast, residents are advised to remain weather-aware as lightning and light thunderstorm activity may still develop in localized pockets. Roads may become slick in spots, especially during isolated downpours.

Motorists should slow down during any evening rainfall and check for localized flooding on low-lying roads. With temperatures holding steady in the 60s, this marks one of the cooler nights in recent weeks — signaling the gradual seasonal transition ahead.

Rain chances drop further by Tuesday morning, but updates from NWS Shreveport may follow if convection redevelops overnight.
