Showers to Hit Eastern Ohio, Western Pennsylvania Monday

Pittsburgh, PA – Rain is expected to move into eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania beginning Monday, bringing a shift from the recent dry and warm conditions.

According to the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh, the week will start with a 50% chance of showers on Monday, cooling temperatures to around 81°F. Residents in Pittsburgh, Wheeling, WV, and Zanesville, OH, should prepare for intermittent rain throughout the day.

Tuesday will offer a brief respite with mostly dry conditions and highs around 85°F. However, by Wednesday, there is a 35% chance of rain, maintaining similar temperatures. Showers are forecasted to increase by Thursday with a 45% chance, lowering temperatures to 79°F.

Despite the midweek rain, the weather is expected to clear up by Friday. The weekend promises a return to sunny conditions with temperatures stabilizing in the low to mid-80s. Saturday and Sunday will be particularly warm, with highs of 86°F and 88°F respectively.
