Memphis, TN – Families in Shelby County can get into the holiday spirit next month as the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Explorers Program hosts its annual “Photo, Hot Chocolate & Cookies with Santa and Mrs. Claus” event on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
According to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, the festive fundraiser will take place at the Sheriff’s Office Training Academy, 993 Dovcrest Road, Memphis, TN 38134. Tickets are available by presale only, with proceeds benefiting the Explorers youth program.
Each $40 ticket includes a photo with Santa, interaction with the elves, cookies and hot chocolate, and a Christmas stocking filled with treats. A letter-writing station will also be available for children to send their Christmas wishes directly to the North Pole.
Deputy Mary Andrus and Deputy Stephen Potts are coordinating ticket sales and can be reached at 901-500-5235 or 901-508-5012, respectively.
Organizers say the event is designed to create a family-friendly experience while raising funds for the Explorers, a program that helps local youth learn about law enforcement and community service.
