St. Paul, MN – Residents in Minnesota and Wisconsin are advised to stay alert for severe weather starting Monday evening, with the potential for tornadoes and damaging winds. The US National Weather Service Twin Cities has issued a warning, highlighting the risk of severe thunderstorms across the region.
According to the US National Weather Service, the risk begins Monday evening and extends into early Tuesday morning. Storms could develop into a strong line, intensifying into a large bowing complex capable of producing damaging winds. Hail, isolated tornadoes, and heavy rainfall are secondary threats.
Today, however, the weather remains mostly sunny with a slight chance of isolated showers in western Wisconsin. Highs will range from 77 to 82 degrees, and lows will be between 55 and 65 degrees.
Monday’s forecast predicts highs of 85 to 90 degrees with a 60% chance of strong to severe storms by evening. Tuesday will be mostly sunny with temperatures between 80 and 85 degrees, and Wednesday is expected to be sunny with highs of 75 to 80 degrees.
