Huntsville, AL – A medium chance of thunderstorms is forecast to impact northwest Alabama starting this evening and lasting through Thursday morning. According to the NWS, the cold front expected to stall to the northwest of the region will bring 20-60% chances of thunderstorms, with the highest risk of severe weather focused in far northwest Alabama. Areas in the green zones have a lower likelihood of experiencing thunderstorms.
