Kankakee County, IL – Authorities advise finding an alternate route following a serious accident early Monday.
According to the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred just after 6 a.m. at the intersection of 12000 N Road and 6500 E, in the rural Manteno/Grant Park area near the Kankakee/Will County line.
Emergency personnel remain on the scene, and motorists are urged to avoid the area to allow for the emergency response and investigation to proceed unimpeded.
