Springfield, MO – The National Weather Service in Springfield reports that a quiet early December weekend is expected across southwest Missouri, with partly cloudy skies and seasonal temperatures.
A weak frontal passage Sunday morning may bring patchy drizzle, mainly for areas along and north of Interstate 44, before skies clear later in the day. Winds could gust up to 20 mph as cooler air filters in.
After a chilly start to the week, temperatures will gradually warm into the 50s by Tuesday, marking a return to near-normal December conditions. The forecast remains dry through midweek, with no major precipitation systems expected.
