Seabrook, New Hampshire – A Seabrook traffic stop led to the arrest of a driver allegedly involved in dragging a Massachusetts State Trooper earlier this week.

According to New Hampshire State Police, 27-year-old Binti Bikram Shah of Raymond was taken into custody just after 2:30 a.m. Thursday after Troop A troopers received a “Be On the Lookout” (BOLO) alert from Massachusetts State Police.

Authorities said the BOLO involved a black 2021 BMW 5 Series allegedly connected to an earlier incident in East Boston during which the driver reportedly dragged a Massachusetts State Trooper.

At approximately 3:07 a.m., Trooper Patrick Vetter observed the vehicle traveling northbound on Interstate 95 in Seabrook. Troopers followed the BMW as it exited at Exit 1 and conducted a traffic stop on Stard Road with assistance from Seabrook Police.

Shah, identified as the sole occupant, was taken into custody without reported incident.

Troopers determined Shah allegedly showed signs of impairment and charged him with felony possession of controlled drugs, driving under the influence of drugs or liquor (subsequent offense), operating after revocation or suspension, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle, and contempt of court for breach of bail conditions.

He was held at the Rockingham County Jail pending an arraignment scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, at 11 a.m. in Hampton District Court.

The investigation involved both New Hampshire and Massachusetts State Police.

This arrest may be of particular interest to commuters who travel the I-95 corridor between New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
