Davenport, IA – Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted in connection with a deadly motorcycle crash in Davenport.

According to the Davenport Police Department, the crash occurred on May 26, 2025, around 10:22 p.m. near 49th and Pine. Investigators say 41-year-old Alex Uthoff was riding a motorcycle recklessly while under the influence of drugs and alcohol when he allegedly lost control and crashed. His passenger, 31-year-old Samantha Burke, was killed in the collision.

Police said Uthoff is now wanted on charges of Homicide by Vehicle, OWI-Homicide by Vehicle, and Reckless Driving–Serious Injury by Vehicle. Authorities have not located him, and Crime Stoppers has labeled the case as its “Crime of the Week.”

The organization emphasized that while Uthoff’s capture will not bring Burke back, it could bring closure to her family and friends. Officials urged anyone with information to call 309-762-9500, use the P3 Tips app, or submit a tip online.

Crime Stoppers stressed that all tips remain anonymous and could be eligible for the cash reward if they lead to an arrest.
