SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – The village of Schaumburg is in mourning after a devastating traffic collision claimed a life.
According to police the accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 18, at the intersection of Schaumburg Road and Walnut Lane involving a van and a car. The identity of the deceased has not been released by officials.
The Schaumburg Police Traffic Unit is diligently investigating the incident. Residents or passersby who witnessed the crash or have any related information are strongly encouraged to contact the Tip Hotline at (847) 348-7055.
