Schaumburg, IL – Schaumburg Township is hosting a free seminar aimed at educating residents on how to identify and avoid scams, schemes, and financial predators. The event, scheduled for Thursday, September 12 at 11 a.m., will take place at the Township building and is open to the public. The seminar is presented in collaboration with Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Northern Illinois (CCCS), an organization dedicated to helping individuals protect their finances and avoid becoming victims of scams.
