Schaumburg, IL – Parents in Schaumburg and surrounding areas have a unique opportunity for their children’s education as School District 54 opens enrollment for its special language immersion programs.

According to the district’s recent Facebook post, applications are due by March 1, 2024, for programs including Japanese Dual Language at Dooley Elementary School, Mandarin Chinese Immersion at Campanelli Elementary School, and Spanish Dual Language at several locations. These programs, alongside the kindergarten through 8th-grade education at Lincoln Prairie School, aim to foster bilingualism and biliteracy from an early age, preparing students for a globalized world.

The district encourages parents to register their kindergarten-aged children before applying, with more information available at sd54.org/openenrollment. #D54KindergartenAdventure
