Milwaukee, WI – Residents can expect mild temperatures and sunny skies this weekend, offering a welcome reprieve from December’s usual chill. Southwest winds will push highs into the low 40s Saturday, creating ideal conditions for outdoor activities.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Milwaukee, Friday will see increasing clouds with highs near 30°F before dropping to 24°F overnight. Saturday promises partly sunny skies and breezy southwest winds of 5–10 mph in the morning, increasing to 15–20 mph by afternoon. Gusts could reach 30 mph, keeping the day feeling brisk despite the temperature spike.

Sunday looks warmer still, with highs near 47°F under mostly sunny skies. However, clouds will increase in the evening, bringing a 40% chance of showers by nightfall. Rain could linger into Monday morning before tapering off, leaving highs near 48°F.

Drivers should exercise caution as rain Sunday night could create slick roads, particularly on I-43 and other major thoroughfares. No severe weather is expected, but reduced visibility and wet pavement could affect travel plans.

Looking ahead, Milwaukee will see mostly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures early next week, with highs in the mid-30s by Tuesday. Despite the cooldown, the region is expected to remain dry.

Plan outdoor activities for Saturday and enjoy the unseasonably mild temperatures. For Sunday, consider completing travel before rain moves in.
