Santa Clara, California — Mostly cloudy morning conditions will give way to mild, dry weather Sunday afternoon across the Bay Area, offering favorable conditions for travel and outdoor events, including the Big Game at Levi’s Stadium.

According to the National Weather Service San Francisco Bay Area office, temperatures Sunday will remain near seasonal averages, with afternoon highs ranging from the low 60s to the low 70s. Inland locations such as Santa Clara, San Jose, and Morgan Hill are expected to reach the upper 60s to near 70 degrees, while coastal areas remain cooler.

Forecast guidance shows light winds during the morning, followed by a breezier afternoon and evening, particularly near exposed corridors and passes. Winds are not expected to reach hazardous levels but may be noticeable around stadium entrances and open areas.

Cloud cover will be most widespread during the early morning hours, gradually thinning by midday. By afternoon, conditions are expected to turn partly cloudy, allowing for comfortable temperatures during peak travel and event times.

In Santa Clara, areas surrounding Levi’s Stadium near U.S. Highway 101 and Interstate 880 should see dry road conditions and good visibility throughout the day. Similar conditions are forecast across much of the South Bay and Peninsula, including routes along State Route 237 and Interstate 280.

No rain or weather-related disruptions are expected, and no advisories are in effect. Overnight temperatures will cool quickly after sunset, especially inland, with lows dropping into the 40s.

The forecast is particularly relevant for commuters, visitors, and event attendees, as steady conditions support smooth traffic flow and outdoor activities before and after the game.

Officials advise dressing in layers, as breezes may make temperatures feel cooler during the evening hours.
