San Francisco, CA – A break from recent showers is on the way as San Francisco prepares for a warming trend heading into the weekend. After a damp start to the week, sunshine and mild temperatures are set to take over, giving residents a taste of spring.
According to the National Weather Service, Thursday will be sunny with a high of 62°F, and light northwest winds of 3 to 8 mph. Overnight temperatures will dip to around 46°F with mostly clear skies. Friday continues the warming trend, reaching 64°F under mostly sunny conditions.
By Saturday, temperatures will climb to a high of 65°F with clear skies, perfect for outdoor plans. Patchy fog could develop late Saturday night, but Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny, reaching the upper 60s.
This shift in weather comes as an arctic front moves out, allowing for milder conditions to settle in. Bay Area residents can expect dry and pleasant conditions through early next week.
Plan for cool mornings but enjoy the sunshine as spring-like temperatures make an early appearance. Stay updated with local forecasts for any changes.
