San Francisco, CA – A warming trend is pushing temperatures across the Bay Area into the 80s through Tuesday, with cooler conditions and rain returning midweek. Cities like San Jose, Oakland, and Santa Rosa are expected to experience unusually warm weather for late March.

According to the National Weather Service San Francisco Bay Area/Monterey, Monday and Tuesday will see high temperatures peaking between 80°F and 85°F in inland areas, including San Jose (85°F Tuesday), Livermore (80°F Monday), and Santa Rosa (84°F Monday). Coastal cities like Half Moon Bay and Monterey will also see temperatures in the 70s, well above seasonal averages.

Beginning late Tuesday night into Wednesday, precipitation chances increase, particularly across the North Bay. Cloverdale and Santa Rosa show a 40–50% chance of rain early Wednesday, with chances extending to much of the Bay Area by Wednesday afternoon. Light rain and gusty winds are expected to continue into Thursday.

Residents are advised to stay hydrated during the early-week warmth and secure outdoor items ahead of gusty midweek winds. While no major storm is forecast, minor travel delays and damp roadways may impact commutes midweek. Updates will continue as the system approaches.
