San Diego, CA – Patchy morning fog and light showers are expected to continue across the San Diego area through Friday night, bringing cooler temperatures and minor travel disruptions.

According to the National Weather Service, a 30% chance of showers will persist overnight into Thursday, with conditions gradually becoming partly sunny by afternoon. Light winds of up to 10 mph from the southwest are expected. Temperatures will remain mild, with daytime highs near 65°F and nighttime lows around 54°F.

Thursday night into Friday morning will see another round of possible precipitation and dense fog, particularly in coastal and inland valley areas. Wind speeds will increase slightly, reaching 10 to 15 mph in some regions. A 20% chance of rain remains in the forecast for early Friday, followed by mostly cloudy skies later in the day.

Visibility may be reduced during the early morning hours due to fog, especially on major routes such as I-5 and I-805. Drivers are urged to slow down and use headlights during low-visibility conditions.

The weekend is expected to clear up, with sunny skies and warmer temperatures beginning Saturday. Residents are advised to monitor updates from the National Weather Service for any shifts in timing or severity.
