San Diego, Calif. – Patchy fog will keep visibility low across San Diego County late Sunday into early Monday before skies gradually clear, bringing highs in the upper 70s. Drivers may notice reduced visibility overnight along the I-5 and I-805 corridors, especially near the coast.
According to the National Weather Service, the fog will remain a recurring issue most nights through Wednesday morning, though daytime hours will be dominated by sunshine and calm winds. Highs are expected to stay in the upper 70s to low 80s across the city, with slightly cooler conditions along the beaches.
Southwest winds up to 10 mph may briefly affect coastal travel, but inland areas will remain largely calm. Marine layer clouds could persist into mid-mornings, particularly for neighborhoods closer to Mission Bay, Point Loma, and La Jolla.
By Thursday, a shift in the pattern will bring a slight chance of thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoons and evenings. Residents are encouraged to plan for dry, warm days but be mindful of changing conditions late in the week.
More updates may follow as thunderstorm chances develop.
