San Diego, CA – A mix of clouds and sunshine will define Tuesday’s weather as spring conditions settle across the region. While no major storms are expected, residents should prepare for shifting conditions throughout the week, including a higher chance of rain by midweek.

According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday will start cloudy before gradually clearing, with a high near 64°F. Light south winds around 5 mph will make for a mild day. Overnight, conditions will remain partly cloudy with lows dipping to 50°F.

By Wednesday, a stronger system will bring a significant chance of rain, starting in the morning and intensifying throughout the day. Highs will reach 63°F, but precipitation chances rise to 80%. Rain will continue overnight into Thursday, with a 90% chance of showers and a cooler high of 57°F.

The rain will taper off by Friday morning, leaving mostly cloudy skies and a slightly warmer high of 60°F. By Friday night, skies will clear, setting up a dry and mild weekend.

While no severe weather is expected, drivers should use caution on wet roads, particularly on major highways like I-5 and I-8. Keep an umbrella handy midweek, and enjoy the brief return of cooler temperatures before sunnier spring weather returns.
