The National Weather Service reports a 70% chance of showers tonight, with rain becoming more likely after midnight. Lows will drop to 52°F, with south winds reaching 10 to 15 mph and gusts as high as 20 mph. Rainfall totals will range between a tenth and a quarter of an inch.
Sunday will bring widespread rain, with thunderstorms possible after 10 a.m. Highs will reach 60°F, but gusty winds up to 25 mph may create hazardous travel conditions. By Sunday night, the rain continues, with a low around 48°F and additional rainfall amounts up to half an inch possible.
Monday is forecast to bring the heaviest rain, with a 90% chance of showers and storms in the morning before tapering off by the afternoon. Highs will reach 58°F, and gusty winds could persist. Rain chances diminish Monday night, with lows near 43°F.
By Wednesday, mostly sunny skies will return, with a high near 59°F, bringing relief after several days of wet weather.
Motorists are advised to use caution on I-5 and I-8, where wet roads and reduced visibility could lead to delays. Residents in flood-prone areas should stay alert for warnings and take precautions to prevent water damage.
