Herman Road after a 911 call reported a white Toyota Avalon being stolen from a nearby driveway on Mt. Herman Road. Detective Jesse Gammel confirmed the report Wednesday morning.

Deputies spotted the vehicle on John Bragg Highway and engaged in a brief pursuit before losing sight of it. The Avalon was later recovered, but the suspect has not been located. Authorities said the man is wanted for questioning in connection with multiple other vehicle thefts and burglaries in the area.
