Roselle, Ill. — The Roselle Police Department notified residents of road closures that began today at 1:00 p.m. until tomorrow evening at 9:00 p.m. The roads will be closed for the French Market today and the Concerts on Main event tomorrow.Â
Prospect Street is closed from Main Street to Elm Street. The closure began at 1:00 p.m. today to set up for the Roselle French Market. The road will remain closed through Thursday night, July 10, to set up for Concerts on Main.
Prospect Street will remain closed for the Concerts with a shift in the area of the road that will be blocked off. For Concerts on Main, Prospect Street will be closed from 14 South Prospect Street to Elm Street.
At approximately 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, the roads will reopen.
Residents are reminded by the Village of Roselle to use caution in these areas as there will be increased pedestrian traffic during these times. Drivers should use the posted detours around the road closures. The Village also reminded residents that dogs are not allowed at special events, unless they are service animals or law enforcement dogs.Â
