Rockdale, IL – Runners are getting ready to lace up for one of Will County’s most festive fitness events — the Santa Shuffle 5K, returning to Rockdale on Saturday, December 7 at 9 a.m.

According to event organizers at RUN3, this year’s route begins and ends at Roc City Bar & Grill and winds through the streets of Rockdale and West Park. The course, described as a “hilly challenge,” welcomes both runners and walkers looking to kick off the holiday season with a spirited community run.

Pre-registered participants will receive a custom winter beanie, holiday t-shirt, and finisher’s medal. After the race, Roc City Bar & Grill will host a post-race party open to all participants and supporters.

Registration is $42 through November 10, $47 from November 11–December 5, and $55 on race day. Interested participants can sign up online at jpdrun3.com.

Organizers say the Santa Shuffle is designed to bring runners together for “holiday fun with a challenge,” encouraging festive costumes and community spirit throughout the morning.

This year’s event is expected to draw runners from across Will County and the greater Joliet area.
