Richmond, VA – A cool, calm Halloween evening is expected across eastern Virginia and northeast North Carolina, with dry skies and light breezes creating ideal weather for trick-or-treaters.
According to the US National Weather Service Wakefield, highs will reach the low to mid-60s this afternoon under mostly sunny skies. After sunset, temperatures will fall steadily into the 50s, staying mild and comfortable through the evening.
Cities including Richmond, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Elizabeth City can expect mostly clear skies and dry conditions, with only a light northwest breeze. No rain is forecast, and visibility will be excellent for outdoor events.
Forecasters say temperatures will hold in the low to mid-50s through 9 p.m., providing one of the most pleasant Halloween nights in recent years for southeastern Virginia.
