Pawtucket, RI – A truck rollover on Interstate 95 is causing major delays in both directions through the Pawtucket S curves Tuesday morning.
According to the Rhode Island State Police, the incident occurred earlier today and has forced lane closures in each direction. Authorities are urging drivers to avoid the area if possible, warning of significant traffic congestion.
The crash site, located in a notoriously difficult stretch of I-95 known as the S curves, is currently being managed by emergency responders. Crews are working to clear the overturned vehicle and restore traffic flow, but no estimated time of reopening has been provided.
Motorists traveling through Pawtucket are encouraged to seek alternate routes. No injuries or additional vehicle involvement have been confirmed at this time. The Rhode Island Department of Transportation has not yet released an official statement regarding possible detours or long-term impacts.
