Revillagigedo Islands, Mexico – Tropical storm conditions are building across the offshore waters near the Revillagigedo Islands, where wind gusts could exceed 45 knots and seas may reach up to 9 feet through Tuesday morning, making marine travel extremely hazardous.

According to the National Hurricane Center, a tropical storm warning remains in effect for waters between 110W and 115W from 17°N to 20°N. Winds tonight are expected to reach 30 knots east of 113W and gradually intensify west of that line through Monday, with sustained gusts up to 45 knots and dangerous swell periods nearing 17 seconds. Thunderstorms will remain scattered throughout the region.

By Tuesday, storm intensity should begin to weaken, with winds shifting southward and decreasing to 10–25 knots across most zones. However, swells from the south and southwest will continue to push seas up to 8 feet, maintaining challenging conditions for small craft and commercial vessels alike.

Boaters are strongly advised to avoid the region and monitor updates from the NHC. Conditions are expected to gradually improve by Wednesday, though residual swells may linger through the end of the week.
