Raleigh, NC – Families across central North Carolina can expect a pleasant, breezy, and cool Halloween evening, perfect for trick-or-treating under mostly clear skies, according to the US National Weather Service Raleigh NC.
Highs this afternoon will reach the low to mid-60s, but temperatures will steadily drop through the evening — reaching the 40s by 10 p.m. in cities such as Greensboro, Raleigh, and Fayetteville.
Winds from the northwest at 20–30 mph will make it feel cooler early in the evening, though conditions will calm overnight as skies remain clear. Overnight lows will fall into the upper 30s to near 40°F, marking a crisp end to Halloween festivities.
Forecasters note that no rain is expected, and visibility will be excellent for those out celebrating. The breezy conditions may persist through early evening, so lightweight decorations and costumes should be secured.
