According to the National Weather Service in Raleigh, Thursday will bring mostly sunny skies and highs near 82, followed by a warmer Friday with highs pushing 86 degrees under clear skies. Winds remain light and variable, keeping conditions comfortable for outdoor events and travel.

Saturday and Sunday look equally favorable, with highs in the low to mid-80s and little chance of rain. Cary, Durham, and surrounding Wake County communities should see mostly clear skies at night, making for cool evenings in the 60s. Those heading to Labor Day cookouts or outdoor gatherings will find temperatures near 80 under mostly sunny skies Monday.

With dry weather holding through at least midweek, North Carolina drivers can expect smooth travel conditions across I-40, I-85, and local routes. No weather-related hazards are expected, though residents are advised to stay hydrated and protect against sun exposure during peak afternoon hours.

The stretch of fair weather continues until at least Wednesday, when highs remain in the low 80s with mostly sunny skies.
