Raleigh County, WV – A Harper Heights man was arrested Friday night after a reported domestic disturbance led to multiple charges, according to the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the Harper Heights area on October 24, 2025, following a 911 hang-up call that was determined to involve a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, deputies learned that the alleged suspect, identified as William Lytle, had fled the scene before officers arrived.
According to Sheriff Frank Priddy, deputies later located Lytle in the vicinity of the residence and took him into custody. Following an investigation, Lytle was charged with burglary – entry of a dwelling, strangulation, domestic battery, and destruction of property.
Sheriff Priddy and Chief Deputy Frankie Shelton commended Deputy Sneddon and others who assisted with the case, including Deputies M. Dunlap, Cpl. J. Hensley, and Cpl. J. Howard with his K-9 partner, Scio.
Officials also confirmed that Lytle had active warrants for a previous incident prior to this arrest.
