Miami, FL – A light east to southeast flow will favor shower and thunderstorm development towards southwest Florida and Gulf coast areas today. According to the National Weather Service in Miami, a few showers and an isolated thunderstorm will still be possible for the east coast metro.
Today’s forecast for South Florida predicts temperatures ranging from 89 to 92 degrees Fahrenheit, with Clewiston, Immokalee, and Palmdale expected to reach 92 degrees. The highest chance of rain, 71%, will be in Immokalee, with other areas like Palmdale and Everglades City experiencing around 60% rain chances.
Friday’s forecast shows similar conditions, with temperatures remaining around 92 degrees and partly cloudy skies. The rain chances will decrease slightly, ranging between 40% to 50% across the region.
Saturday will bring slightly warmer temperatures, reaching up to 93 degrees, with lower rain chances. By Sunday, temperatures will drop to around 90 degrees with a 50% chance of showers.
Early next week, rain chances will increase again. Monday’s forecast includes a 50% chance of rain with temperatures in the upper 80s. Tuesday and Wednesday will see continued rain chances around 35%, with temperatures in the high 70s to low 80s.
