Baltimore, MD – Scattered showers and gusty winds are expected to move through Maryland on Thursday, but residents can look forward to clearer skies and rising temperatures by Friday.
According to the National Weather Service, showers will continue throughout Thursday morning, with the heaviest rain falling between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. Winds will increase in the afternoon, gusting up to 30 mph before gradually calming overnight. Temperatures will peak at 68°F before cooling into the low 40s by Thursday night.
By Friday, dry and sunny conditions will take over. Highs will reach around 55°F, with west winds at 10-15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph. The evening will stay mostly clear, with a low near 43°F.
The weekend forecast looks even better. Saturday will be partly sunny with a high of 59°F, followed by a chilly Saturday night with lows dropping to 25°F. Sunday will bring abundant sunshine and a high near 40°F, perfect for outdoor plans as February turns to March.
Looking ahead to next week, temperatures will gradually warm. Monday and Tuesday will stay dry with highs in the mid-40s to mid-50s. However, rain chances increase Tuesday night, with an 80% chance of rain expected by Wednesday.
