Paducah, KY – The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for much of the Quad State region, including southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

Visibility is expected to drop below ¼ mile at times through 9 a.m. Sunday, making for hazardous travel conditions. Motorists are urged to slow down, use low-beam headlights, and allow extra space when driving through fog-prone areas.

After the fog lifts, skies will turn partly sunny with highs near 60°F. The quiet weather will continue through the day before rain returns Monday into Tuesday, with rainfall totals around one inch or less.

By midweek, cooler and drier air will settle into the region, leading to a mostly sunny and chilly Thanksgiving with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s. The next chance of rain returns by Saturday evening into Sunday.
