Davenport, Iowa – A cool and clear Saturday night will drop temperatures into the low 40s across the Quad Cities, setting the stage for a stretch of warmer and mostly pleasant weather through midweek.

According to the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities, overnight lows will dip between 39 and 45 degrees before rebounding into the mid-60s to low 70s on Sunday under sunny skies. Sunday is expected to be the most comfortable day of the stretch, with little cloud cover and light winds.

By Monday, temperatures rise into the upper 70s, with a mix of sun and occasional clouds. Tuesday will be the warmest day so far, with highs reaching the lower 80s. Forecasters note a slight chance of showers Tuesday, though most of the region will stay dry.

Travelers and outdoor plans should not face major disruptions, but cooler evenings tonight may warrant jackets for late events, while rising temperatures early next week will make for ideal outdoor conditions.

The National Weather Service says the warming trend continues into midweek, with more updates expected if Tuesday’s rain chances grow.
