Davenport, IA – Sunshine and mild temperatures will make for a pleasant Sunday across the Quad Cities region, with highs in the low to mid-50s, according to the National Weather Service in Davenport.

Forecasters say a storm system will bring periods of light rain Monday afternoon and evening, with precipitation amounts ranging from a few hundredths to around 0.20 inches. Rain will taper off overnight into Tuesday morning.

Temperatures will briefly rise into the mid to upper 50s Tuesday before a strong cold front moves through, bringing much colder air for mid to late week. Highs by Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day will fall into the 30s, with brisk northwest winds making it feel even colder.

After a mild weekend, residents should prepare for a sharp cooldown heading into the holiday.
