According to the National Weather Service Quad Cities, light fog and drizzle are possible today, with potential for dense fog developing tonight and into Friday morning. Forecasters advised travelers later today, this evening, and early Friday to monitor conditions closely due to the risk of sharply reduced visibility.
Forecast temperatures today are expected to range from 39 to 45 degrees north and 44 to 50 degrees south, with overnight lows falling into the mid-30s to mid-40s. Friday brings continued cloud cover, with morning fog possibly dense, and highs ranging from the low 40s north to mid-50s south.
Cloudy conditions are expected to persist into Saturday, with highs climbing into the mid-40s to near 60 degrees, depending on location. By Sunday, the forecast shows a turning colder and blustery pattern, with a chance of snow and highs from the mid-30s north to mid-40s south.
Looking ahead to Monday, the National Weather Service indicates colder conditions, with highs forecast in the upper teens to lower 20s under blustery conditions.
